Nov 2012 ~Stress

Its Nov 2012 , nearing year end   I will be very busy for the next few weeks,   handling a big project, and we are shorthanded as some staff are clearing leave this year end.   The people around me are busy too. No one is to blame. Everyone is pulling their weight here.   I am multi-tasking, putting on a positive front, but rather unsure if I can pull it through....I am stressed.   Thinking of the kids, will they be neglected? but I am doing all this for them.   Hubby will be doing something  very new next month, also a challenge....I need to be supportive. He needs to be supportive. I hope the kids understand.   May God give us ease to whatever is difficult.   Amiin.

Dental visit for the Kids!

Image
Kids had their first visit to the Dentist...   I must say, they are lucky kids.....Alhamdullilah.   My parents never brought me to a "kids dentist" before.....Dentist in my days were scary, old, and boring.....even Hubby realised that. In our days, our parents wont spend money on our dental visits.   Kids enjoyed their visit, and learnt more about dental care....Dr OK spend alot of time orientating the kids and teaching them about oral hygiene. She also showed them the tools that she would be using to treat their teeth.   Alhamdullilah, both behaved and allowed the dentist to check their teeth.   Abang teeth were good, straight but growing inwards, not outwards... that may be a bit of a problem in future.   Adik on the other hand, had about 3 cavities that needed to be plastered.   All in all, great experience...... we might continue with Dr OK once a year.   xoxo

P1 Orientations

`~Abangs primary one school books neatly stacked~ It was a good Primary one orientation at Abang's school. The teachers- looked concern and vibrant, the students- courteous and promising, the school- sufficient and condusive. Abang seemed scared at first but calm down after a few games. I loved it that hubby and me tag-team for this task, I handled the administrative matters in the class and hubby went down to the bookshop to buy the books. Later we both went down with Abang to buy his uniforms. When Abang could not fit in size that was bought, I stayed with Abang and Hubby ran up and down to change his shirt and shorts. Its a new phase for us, the primary school phase..... InsyƔAllah, May everything goes well. Amiin.

Repentance

I pen this in my thoughts this morning while on the way to work.... It came about when I remember my dissappointment is some of my friends, a lady who has returned to the ''straight'' path but still continues to smoke occasionally A charismatic boy, single father, from the madrasah but drinks A handsome young man drinking next to his mother and she is quiet who am I to judge? Everyone has a story to tell Thus it’s not fair to judge But a sin is but a sin   And the only way out is repentance They may repent one day, and God will accept it But Me? will I get to repent before my last breath? A thought worth pondering.
